AEO agency

Your buyers ask ChatGPT first. We make sure it names you.

Honeyb is an answer engine optimization agency with its own measurement engine. Every day we put your buyers' questions to eight AI engines, find the sources each one leans on, then write, fix and earn what gets you recommended. You watch the answers change.

AI search visibility work, measured daily and approved by you.

    Why this exists

The shortlist is now written by a machine, and it changes its mind.

AEO (answer engine optimization, or: persuading the assistant to mention you before it mentions anyone else) exists because buyers stopped scrolling. They ask ChatGPT or Perplexity for the best option in a category, get three to five names with reasons attached, and start their shortlist there. If you are not one of the names, you are not in the running, however well you rank on Google.

The awkward part is that the answer moves. In our August 2026 sampling of finance questions, one question in three changed its top recommendation between two identical runs. A single check tells you what one engine said once, which is roughly as useful as a weather forecast from last Tuesday. The work is measuring the answer as a moving target and changing the things that move it.

    What we do

Four jobs, one team, measured every day.

Most AEO advice stops at a checklist. The recommendations come from what the engines read, so that is where we spend our time, and we measure every change against the answers your buyers see.

    1. 01

      Measure what the engines say

We build the set of questions your buyers actually ask, by market and language, and put it to eight AI engines every day. You see who gets recommended, how you are described, which facts are wrong and which competitor wins each answer.

You get: A daily dashboard, and a weekly read-out from a person who has read the answers.

    2. 02

      Find what they are reading

Every answer leans on sources: your pages, review sites, comparison lists, forums, and documents you forgot you ever published. We map them engine by engine, check whether AI crawlers can read your site at all, and trace each wrong fact to the page that keeps repeating it.

You get: A source map and a list of fixes, ranked by how much each one should move.

    3. 03

      Fix and publish

Our content engine writes the pages the engines cite, in your voice and with your sign-off. We fix the technical layer as well: crawler access, structured data, llms.txt, and the product facts that need to be stated plainly enough for a machine to repeat them correctly.

You get: Pages, fixes and corrections, shipped through your CMS.

    4. 04

Earn the sources you do not own

Most recommendations rest on pages you do not control, which is inconvenient but also where the opportunity is. We get you onto the lists, review sites and publications the engines quote, request corrections where they are wrong, and publish studies from our own data that journalists want to cite.

You get: Placements, corrections and coverage, each tied to the answers it should change.

    Before you hire anyone

Check whether AI can read the agency.

We tested 917 marketing and SEO agencies that rank on Google, using the crawlers behind ChatGPT, Claude and Perplexity. 257 of them could not be fully read, and ranking first made no difference. An agency that AI cannot see is an odd choice to make you visible to it, so ask everyone on your shortlist, us included, to show you their own answers.

    How it runs

    The first month, in order.

    1. Week 1

      Baseline

We agree the questions and markets, capture all eight engines, and show you where you stand today.

    2. Week 2

      Diagnosis and plan

Sources, crawler access and wrong facts, turned into a plan ranked by expected impact.

    3. Weeks 3 and 4

      First fixes ship

Pages, technical fixes and the first outreach go out. Nothing about your products is published without your approval.

    4. Every month after

      Re-measure, then repeat

What moved, what did not, and what we are doing next, with the answers to prove it.

    Three ways to do it

Pick the one that matches your team.

If you already have a strong in-house SEO team, our software plans start at $29 a month and you may not need an agency at all. We would rather tell you that now than in month three.

    Questions buyers ask us

What does an AEO agency actually do?

It gets your brand named, accurately, in the answers AI assistants give your buyers. In practice that means measuring those answers, finding the sources the engines rely on, improving your own pages and technical setup, and earning mentions on the third-party pages the engines quote. A good one shows you the answers before and after.

How is AEO different from SEO?

SEO earns you a position in a list of links. AEO earns you a place inside the answer that sits above the list, or replaces it entirely. They share foundations, crawlable pages and trusted sources, but AEO is judged on whether you are named and described correctly, not on where you rank.

How soon will we see results?

The first fixes usually ship within the first month. Changes to your own pages can show up in answers within weeks, while third-party sources take longer because someone else has to publish them. Because we measure daily, you see the date a change lands rather than waiting for a quarterly report.

    How much does it cost?

We scope each engagement by markets, languages and how much of the work you want us to do, and agree a fixed monthly fee before anything starts. If you would rather run it in-house, our self-serve plans start at $29 a month.

Can you guarantee that ChatGPT will recommend us?

No, and be wary of anyone who does. Nobody outside the AI companies controls what an engine says. What we control is the evidence the engines draw on, and we show you every day whether the answers are moving.

Which AI engines do you cover?

Eight: ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, Perplexity, Grok, DeepSeek, Google AI Mode and Google AI Overviews. We add engines when buyers start using them, and every one is measured daily in the markets and languages you sell in.
