GEO agency
Generative engines quote someone. We make that someone you.
Honeyb is a generative engine optimization agency that measures before it writes. We find the pages each AI engine draws its answers from, then create, fix and earn the sources that get you quoted and recommended, with the answers tracked every day.

Why this exists
AI answers are written from sources, and the sources are up for grabs.
GEO (generative engine optimization: becoming the material an AI writes its answer from) matters because the answer is now the first thing your buyer reads. In our capture of 1,825 commercial Google queries in October 2026, 93% showed an AI Overview, citing 7.8 sources on average.
Here is the part worth reading twice: 71% of those citations pointed at pages outside the organic top 10. Ranking still makes you eligible, but it no longer decides who gets quoted. The engines go looking for the clearest, most specific, most trusted page on the question, and very often that is a page nobody has optimized for anything. That is good news, because it means the quotable source can be built.
What we do
We build the pages the engines quote.
GEO is mostly a sources problem wearing a content costume. We work out which pages each engine trusts on your topics, then make sure the best answer on the internet to your buyers' questions is yours, or at least mentions you.
- 01
Measure what the engines say
We build the set of questions your buyers actually ask, by market and language, and put it to eight AI engines every day. You see who gets recommended, how you are described, which facts are wrong and which competitor wins each answer.
You get: A daily dashboard, and a weekly read-out from a person who has read the answers.
- 02
Find what they are reading
Every answer leans on sources: your pages, review sites, comparison lists, forums, and documents you forgot you ever published. We map them engine by engine, check whether AI crawlers can read your site at all, and trace each wrong fact to the page that keeps repeating it.
You get: A source map and a list of fixes, ranked by how much each one should move.
- 03
Fix and publish
Our content engine writes the pages the engines cite, in your voice and with your sign-off. We fix the technical layer as well: crawler access, structured data, llms.txt, and the product facts that need to be stated plainly enough for a machine to repeat them correctly.
You get: Pages, fixes and corrections, shipped through your CMS.
- 04
Earn the sources you do not own
Most recommendations rest on pages you do not control, which is inconvenient but also where the opportunity is. We get you onto the lists, review sites and publications the engines quote, request corrections where they are wrong, and publish studies from our own data that journalists want to cite.
You get: Placements, corrections and coverage, each tied to the answers it should change.
Before you hire anyone
Check whether AI can read the agency.
We tested 917 marketing and SEO agencies that rank on Google, using the crawlers behind ChatGPT, Claude and Perplexity. 257 of them could not be fully read, and ranking first made no difference. An agency that AI cannot see is an odd choice to make you visible to it, so ask everyone on your shortlist, us included, to show you their own answers.

Questions buyers ask us
What is generative engine optimization?
GEO is the work of getting your brand used, cited and recommended by AI engines that generate answers, such as ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity and Google's AI Overviews. It covers the pages you publish, how readable they are to AI crawlers, and the third-party sources the engines trust.
Is GEO the same as AEO?
Close enough that the difference is mostly vocabulary. GEO is the academic name and leans towards content and citations; AEO leans towards being the recommended answer. We do both, because buyers need you cited and recommended, and the same sources drive each.
Do we still need SEO?
Yes. Crawlable, fast, well-structured pages are the entry ticket for both. The difference is what you optimize for afterwards: GEO judges a page by whether engines quote it, which, as our capture shows, is often unrelated to whether it ranks in the top 10.
How much does it cost?
We scope each engagement by markets, languages and how much of the work you want us to do, and agree a fixed monthly fee before anything starts. If you would rather run it in-house, our self-serve plans start at $29 a month.
Can you guarantee citations in AI answers?
No, and be wary of anyone who does. Nobody outside the AI companies controls what an engine says. What we control is the evidence the engines draw on, and we show you every day whether the answers are moving.
Which AI engines do you cover?
Eight: ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, Perplexity, Grok, DeepSeek, Google AI Mode and Google AI Overviews. We add engines when buyers start using them, and every one is measured daily in the markets and languages you sell in.
