Honeyb vs Siftly: Which Tracks More of Your AI Answers

A spec-only comparison of Honeyb and Siftly on the metric both vendors publish: responses tracked per month. Prices, prompt counts, engine coverage by tier and content output, taken from both public pricing pages on 3 August 2026.

Honeyb vs Siftly: Which Tracks More of Your AI Answers

Siftly's Starter plan is $79 a month for 50 prompts and 4,500 tracked responses across three engines. Honeyb, our product, is also $79 for 50 prompts scanned daily across three engines of your choice, which resolves to the same 4,500 responses a month. The two tools meet exactly at that price, so the decision moves to which engines you get, what happens above and below $79, and what each tool does with the data once it has it. Every figure below comes from both vendors' public pricing pages on 3 August 2026, with the arithmetic shown rather than inferred.

Siftly earns the search. In Honeyb's first-party citation data its domain was cited 436 times across 28 URLs by AI engines in our category, and DataForSEO records 110 US searches a month for the brand name at a keyword difficulty of 6. When answer engines keep surfacing a vendor, buyers go looking for what sits behind it and what else costs the same.

Where Siftly's page does not state something, the table says so rather than guessing. As of 3 August 2026 its pricing page listed no API or white-label option and did not publish a per-engine breakdown above Scale. None of that means the capability is absent, only that a buyer cannot verify it from public information.

Both vendors count responses the same way

Siftly prices on responses tracked per month, which is the honest unit for this category because a prompt tracked on one engine is not the same purchase as a prompt tracked on eight. Its published numbers resolve cleanly to prompts multiplied by engines, markets and days. Honeyb prices on prompts and engine count, so the same arithmetic makes the two directly comparable.

    PlanPricePromptsEnginesResponses a month
    Honeyb, The Minimum$2910 daily1 of choice300 (10 x 1 x 30)

    Siftly, Growth$249100 across 2 markets530,000 (published)
    Siftly, Scale$599150 across 3 markets8108,000 (published)

Two things fall out of that table. At $79 the volume is identical, so the tiers are a genuine like-for-like and the choice is about engines, seats and what the tool does next. Above $79 Siftly buys volume through extra markets, while Honeyb buys it through engine breadth: 24,000 responses at $199 against 30,000 at $249. A team tracking one market pays less at Honeyb for eight engines than at Siftly for five; a team tracking three markets on 150 prompts gets more raw volume from Siftly's Scale. Neither is better in the abstract, and the wider price field is mapped in our AI visibility software pricing breakdown.

    Entry price

Entry-tier price of AI brand monitoring tools

Cheapest paid tier per tool in USD per month, as displayed on each vendor's public pricing page on 13 July 2026. Writesonic and Profound display annual-billed rates; monthly-billed prices are higher. EUR-priced tools (LLM Pulse, SE Ranking) and demo-gated tools (Brandwatch, Meltwater, Talkwalker) are excluded. Honeyb is our product.

Engine coverage is the real difference

Siftly gates specific engines to specific tiers. Honeyb meters how many engines you track, not which ones, so any single engine is available on the $29 plan as your chosen model. The practical effect shows up clearly when you ask what each engine costs to reach.

EngineCheapest Honeyb tier that can include itCheapest Siftly tier that includes it
    ChatGPT$29Free
    Google AI Overviews$29Free
    Perplexity$29Free
    Gemini$29$249, Growth
    Google AI Mode$29$249, Growth
    Copilot$29$599, Scale
    Grok$29$599, Scale
    Claude$29Enterprise, custom
    DeepSeekNot offered$599, Scale

Claude is the sharpest example in either direction. It sits behind Siftly's Enterprise tier, so a buyer whose audience leans on Claude cannot reach it on a published price, while Honeyb includes it as a selectable model from $29. Going the other way, DeepSeek is on Siftly's Scale tier and Honeyb does not track it at all. Read the table against your own buyers rather than as a scoreboard, and if you are still shortlisting, our AI visibility tracker comparison covers the wider field.

Why refresh rate belongs on the spec sheet

Both tools refresh daily on paid plans, and that matters more than it sounds. SparkToro found the same AI query changes its answer roughly 70% of the time, and that two identical queries return the same list of recommended brands less than once in a hundred attempts. Honeyb's own measurement on 13 July 2026, running 20 buyer prompts three times each through four engine APIs, found the top-picked brand changed between identical runs 44% of the time on Gemini and 28% on Claude.

    Top-pick change rate

How often the top recommendation changes between identical runs

Share of consecutive identical prompt runs where the engine's number-one recommended brand changed: Gemini 44%, Perplexity 43%, ChatGPT 35%, Claude 28%. Honeyb measurement, 13 July 2026: 20 buyer-intent prompts, 3 runs each, via API (gpt-5-mini, gemini-2.5-flash, claude-haiku-4-5, sonar).

Siftly's free plan refreshes weekly, which is fine for a first look and thin for a decision: at that cadence a single unlucky run sets your reading for seven days. The method for turning noisy runs into a defensible number is in how to measure AI share of voice.

    Both tools also write content

This is where the two products diverge most. Siftly bundles generative engine optimisation output: 8 blog posts a month at Starter, 30 at Growth, 60 at Scale, plus 5 citation outreach campaigns at Starter rising to 30 at Scale, and Reddit engagement from Growth. Honeyb's Content Agent researches article ideas from your own visibility data, drafts them and publishes to WordPress, Ghost, Shopify, Webflow, Wix or a custom endpoint, at 10, 30 and 80 articles a month across the three tiers.

    Off-site outreachNot included5 to 30 campaigns a month

The outreach line is worth weighing rather than dismissing. Ahrefs found AI visibility correlates most strongly with third-party mentions and video rather than on-page work, and Semrush puts Reddit at 40.1% of all AI citations, the single most-cited source. A tool that acts off-site is aimed at the part of the problem that on-page publishing does not reach. The counterweight is that 62% of AI citations never name the brand at all (Semrush), so volume of placements is not the same as volume of recommendations, and both need measuring separately.

    Which one fits your team

Three questions settle it. First, which engines your buyers use: if Claude, Gemini or Google AI Mode is on that list, check what tier each vendor puts it behind before comparing headline prices. Second, markets: one market and broad engine coverage points to Honeyb's $199 Full Spectrum, while three markets on a focused engine set points to Siftly's Scale. Third, what you want done with the finding, since Siftly leans towards off-site outreach and Honeyb towards researched articles published straight to your CMS. We ran the same spec exercise against another tool in Honeyb vs Dageno, and the full category sits in best AI brand monitoring tools.

    Frequently asked questions

    Is Honeyb cheaper than Siftly?

At entry, yes: Honeyb's Minimum is $29 a month against Siftly's $79 Starter, per both pricing pages on 3 August 2026. At $79 the two tiers carry identical volume, 50 prompts and 4,500 tracked responses. For eight-engine coverage Honeyb is $199 against Siftly's $599 Scale, though Scale also covers 150 prompts across three markets.

Which AI engines does Siftly cover?

Its pricing page on 3 August 2026 listed ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews and Perplexity on the Free and Starter tiers, adding Gemini and Google AI Mode at Growth ($249), Copilot, Grok and DeepSeek at Scale ($599), and Claude at Enterprise. Honeyb covers ChatGPT, Google AI Mode, Google AI Overviews, Copilot, Perplexity, Gemini, Grok and Claude, with any one of them selectable at $29.

Does Siftly have a free plan or a free trial?

Both. Its pricing page lists a Free plan with 100 tracked responses a month, 10 prompts and a weekly refresh, plus a 7-day trial on any paid plan with no card required. Honeyb runs 3-day trials on the $79 and $199 tiers and a free AI visibility check that needs no account.

How many tracked responses do I actually need?

Enough to clear the noise. The same AI query changes its answer roughly 70% of the time (SparkToro), and Honeyb's 13 July 2026 measurement found the top pick flipping 28% to 44% of the time between identical runs depending on engine. In practice that means 10 to 20 buyer prompts refreshed daily across the two or three engines your buyers use, which is 900 to 1,800 responses a month before you add engines.

Do both tools write content as well as track it?

Yes, with different scopes. Siftly publishes 8 to 60 blog posts a month by tier plus citation outreach campaigns and Reddit engagement from Growth. Honeyb's Content Agent produces 10, 30 or 80 researched articles a month and publishes them to WordPress, Ghost, Shopify, Webflow, Wix or a custom endpoint. Siftly acts off-site; Honeyb acts on your own site.

I'm based in Riga, Latvia. Before Honeyb I spent years on the agency side running SEO and content programs for fast-growing brands across the US and Europe. That work is where I watched AI search start to compress the entire discovery channel into a four-brand short list, and decided to build the tool I wished agencies had. In my free time I'm in the sauna, on a padel court, or behind a drum kit.
