Searchable is one of the fastest-growing tools in AI search visibility, and it has earned the attention. It packs a visibility dashboard, an agent you can question in plain English, a content studio and technical audits into one product, and it raised a $14M Series A led by Headline in July 2026. For a marketing team taking its first serious look at AI answers, that is a lot of tool for $125 a month.
The catch sits in one line of its pricing page. Every plan includes three engines, ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews and Perplexity, and the rest, Gemini, Claude, Google AI Mode, Grok, DeepSeek and Copilot among them, are add-ons whose price you see after onboarding or from sales. So the question this review answers is simple: how much of the AI answer space does Searchable show you for your money, and what does it do once it has shown you? We read Searchable's own pages on 15 October 2026 and quote its feature names as it prints them. Full disclosure: we build Honeyb, a competing tool, and it comes out ahead below for reasons we show with numbers.
The verdict in one table
| If you want | Pick | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Every major engine checked daily, with the work done for you: best overall and best value | Honeyb (ours) | All 8 engines on Full Spectrum at $199/mo for 100 prompts daily, about $0.008 an answer, with ranked fixes and 30 Content Agent articles published to your CMS |
| A cheaper start on three engines | Honeyb (ours) | Multi-Model is $79/mo for 50 prompts daily on 3 engines you choose, plus 15 articles |
| An all-in-one AEO workspace on ChatGPT, AI Overviews and Perplexity | Searchable | Pro is $125/mo with 100 tracked prompts per model, 20 articles and 200 audits a month |
| Shopping and GA4 analytics in the same tool | Searchable | AI Shopping and LLM Analytics modules sit beside the visibility dashboard |
What Searchable is
Searchable describes itself as "an AI search optimization platform that helps brands track visibility and analytics across AI engines". The company behind it, Searchable Limited, is based in London and was founded by Chris Donnelly, who previously built and sold the SEO agency Verb. The July round valued the company at about $85M, according to LXA Hub, five months after a $4M pre-seed. Its homepage claims more than 12,000 users.
Do not confuse it with Searchable.ai, an older desktop search app that indexes your own files. The two share a name and nothing else; this review is about the AEO (answer engine optimisation, or getting the AI to name you before it names anyone else) platform at searchable.com.
What Searchable does, in its own words
Searchable's features page splits the product into four areas, and it is the breadth here that wins it fans:
- Analytics. "AEO Insights" is the main workspace for visibility, competitors, citations, topics, query fanout and location. "AI Shopping" tracks product visibility and the prompts that trigger shopping results. "LLM Analytics" and "Traffic" measure AI crawlers, referrals and AI-influenced sessions from your analytics data.
- Prompts. "Your Prompts", "Prompt Research" and "Prompt Universe" track buyer questions and suggest new ones.
- Actions. An "Agent" you ask questions of in plain English, and "Content", where its content agent and canvas "plan, write, score, revise, and export" articles.
- On Page. "Site Health" audits technical health, schema, crawler access and "AEO readiness".
Around that sit an MCP server and API access on every plan, integrations with Google Analytics, Search Console, HubSpot and Salesforce, and an agency track with pitch workspaces and white-labelled reports.
Searchable pricing
Searchable prints its prices, which is more than many vendors in this category do. We read the brands tab of its pricing page on 15 October 2026, month-to-month billing; an annual toggle lowers the figure.

| Plan | Price (monthly billing) | Engines included | Tracked prompts | Articles a month | Audits a month | Projects |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Pro | $125/mo | ChatGPT, AI Overviews, Perplexity | 100 per model | 20 | 200 | 1 |
| Scale | $400/mo | ChatGPT, AI Overviews, Perplexity | 500 per model | 80 | 1,000 | 10 |
| Enterprise | $999/mo | ChatGPT, AI Overviews, Perplexity | 1,250 per model | 200 | 3,000 | Unlimited |
Every plan can add Copilot, DeepSeek, Google AI Mode, Gemini, Claude and Grok, plus cheaper "Lite" versions of Claude and Grok. The page shows no price for any of them; the Claude add-on is labelled "via API, additional cost", and the note under each plan says to add models after onboarding or chat with sales. Pro and Scale start with a 14-day free trial; Enterprise starts with a sales call. Looker Studio and white-label reports begin on Scale.
Strengths
The fair case for Searchable is strong, and it is mostly about breadth of workflow:
- One workspace for the whole AEO job. Tracking, prompt research, content and audits live together, and the agent can answer questions across all of them. Few tools at $125 cover as much ground.
- A generous content allowance. Twenty articles a month on Pro and 80 on Scale is more writing than most trackers include.
- Commerce and analytics depth. AI Shopping and LLM Analytics suit e-commerce brands and teams that want AI referral traffic tied to sessions and conversions.
- Open plumbing. MCP and API access on the entry plan make it easy to pull the data into your own agents and reports.
Limits
The limits are about what you see and what happens next, and they matter more as a programme grows:
- Three engines until you pay more. Gemini, Claude and Google AI Mode are where many B2B and high-consideration buyers now ask questions, and on Searchable each is an add-on with no price on the page. A brand that wants the full picture cannot cost it before talking to the company.
- No refresh cadence on the pricing page. The plans count prompts per model and audits per month, but do not say how often each prompt is re-asked, which is what decides how fast you see a change.
- Content that stops at export. Searchable's own description of its content agent ends at "export". Getting the article live is still a job for your team.
- The best reporting sits on Scale. Looker Studio and white-label reports start at $400 a month.
Searchable vs Honeyb
Honeyb starts where Searchable's add-on note leaves off. Every Honeyb plan chooses from all eight engines, ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, Perplexity, Grok, DeepSeek, Google AI Mode and AI Overviews, at a price printed on the page, and each prompt is re-asked daily. Then the agent does the work: it ranks what to fix first, and its Content Agent researches, writes and publishes the article to WordPress, Ghost, Shopify, Webflow or Wix.
| Honeyb (ours) | Searchable | |
|---|---|---|
| Entry price | $29/mo (1 engine, 10 prompts daily, 5 articles) | $125/mo (3 engines, 100 prompts per model, 20 articles) |
| All 8 major engines | Full Spectrum, $199/mo, price on the page | Three included; Gemini, Claude, AI Mode, Grok and DeepSeek are add-ons priced after onboarding or by sales |
| Refresh | Daily on every plan | Not stated on the pricing page |
| Cost per answer at full use | About $0.008 on Full Spectrum (100 prompts x 8 engines x 30 days for $199) | Cannot be worked out from the page |
| Content | 5, 15 or 30 articles a month, published to your CMS | 20, 80 or 200 articles a month, plan, write, score, revise and export |
| Recommendations | Ranked fixes from visibility, citation and content signals | Agent answers and Actions |
| Technical audits | Crawler access fixes | Site Health audits, 200 to 3,000 a month |
| Shopping and GA4 analytics | Not the focus | AI Shopping, LLM Analytics, Traffic |
| API | $0.08 per answer, no plan needed | API access on every plan |
| Free way to start | Free AI visibility checker, no card | 14-day trial |
Read across and the trade is clear. Searchable gives you more articles and more modules at its entry price, and if AI Shopping or GA4 attribution is the job, that counts. But the question most buyers are asking is whether ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude and Google's AI surfaces recommend them, and what to do about it if they do not. Honeyb answers it for all eight engines every day for $199, a figure you can see before you sign up, and publishes the content that closes the gap. On the job a visibility tool is bought for, Honeyb is the better value.

Who Searchable fits
Searchable fits an in-house team or agency that wants an AEO workspace with many modules, sells online and values AI Shopping, and is content to track ChatGPT, AI Overviews and Perplexity first and price the other engines later. For teams that want every engine their buyers use on one published price, checked daily, and an agent that turns the gaps into published content, Honeyb is the stronger pick.
