AirOps Alternatives: 12 Tools for Content and AI Search, 8 With Prices You Can See

AirOps sells a content engine for AI search and prints no plan prices. We sorted 12 alternatives by the job you hired AirOps for and priced each from the vendor's own US page. Honeyb comes out first for content that gets brands recommended by AI: all eight engines, a Content Agent that publishes, from $29 a month.

AirOps Alternatives: 12 Tools for Content and AI Search, 8 With Prices You Can See

AirOps has a following among content teams for good reason: it turns research, drafting and page refreshes into workflows you can see, review and repeat, and it watches how ChatGPT and other answer engines talk about your brand. The reasons people go looking for something else are mostly on its pricing page. Solo, Pro and Enterprise are listed without a single plan price, billing runs on tasks, and the entry plan's Insights cover ChatGPT only.

So we sorted the alternatives by the job you hired AirOps for: content that gets cited by AI, on-brand writing, page optimization, general LLM workflows, or an enterprise AI search program. Below are 12, each with the price as US visitors see it on the vendor's own page (read on 13 October 2026), what it does better than AirOps, one limit and who it suits. Eight of the twelve print a US dollar price before you talk to anyone. For the job most AirOps buyers have, getting their content recommended by AI, Honeyb comes out first and is our pick for best overall and best value.

    Why teams look past AirOps

We read airops.com/pricing on 13 October 2026. It lists three plans and no dollar figure for any of them. The only price on the page is for overage: Solo users pay $0.025 for each task beyond their monthly allotment.

AirOps pricing page listing Solo, Pro and Enterprise plans with no prices shown
AirOps' pricing page: Solo, Pro and Enterprise, with Start for free and Work with us buttons and no plan prices. Captured 10 October 2026.

Four limits come up again and again, and three are printed on that page:

    • No plan prices. Solo and Pro say "Start for free" and Enterprise says "Work with us". The FAQ explains that usage is counted in tasks, so the monthly figure is something you work out with AirOps.
    • Task-based billing. A task is counted every time a workflow completes an action, and adding data sources, model calls and steps raises the count. That suits steady volume and surprises teams still experimenting.
    • One engine and one user at the entry level. Solo's Insights cover ChatGPT only and allow a single user; Insights across 7+ answer engines and unlimited seats start on Pro.
    • A system to build. AirOps rewards someone who owns the workflows, brand kits and knowledge bases. Teams that wanted finished articles sometimes find they bought a workshop.

    AirOps at a glance

    • Price (airops.com/pricing, 13 Oct 2026): no plan prices published; $0.025 per extra task on Solo. A 14-day free trial runs the Scale plan's features with no payment details until it ends.
    • Solo: ChatGPT Insights only, 35,000 tasks for content production, 1 brand kit and 3 knowledge bases, basic CMS and SEO integrations, a single user.
    • Pro: Insights across 7+ answer engines, 100,000 tasks, 5 knowledge bases, CMS, SEO, AEO, social and project integrations, unlimited seats.
    • Enterprise: custom prompt, page and task limits, custom agent builds, unlimited brand kits and knowledge bases, a dedicated account manager and 1:1 onboarding.

Read across the table and AirOps turns out hard to replace with one tool, because it is two products in one: a visibility module and a workflow builder. Honeyb and Writesonic match the first half at a printed price and add articles; Gumloop and n8n match the second half and know nothing about AI answers. Most teams will find that one of the groups below describes what they actually used. If it is the first, the numbers favor Honeyb: Full Spectrum checks 100 prompts a day on all eight engines, about 24,000 answers a month, and writes 30 articles for $199.

Every entry follows the same order: the verdict, the price as published for US visitors, what it does better than AirOps, its limit and who it suits.

    Free AI visibility checker

    1. Honeyb (ours): best overall and best value, a visibility agent with a Content Agent attached

Honeyb starts from the answers: it asks the engines your buyers use the questions they ask, ranks what to fix first, then researches, drafts and publishes the articles that close the gaps. That is the Insights-plus-content loop most teams bought AirOps for, at a price on the page and with no workflow to design.

    • Price (honeyb.ai/pricing, 13 Oct 2026): The Minimum is $29 a month for 10 prompts daily on one engine and 5 Content Agent articles a month ($23 billed annually); Multi-Model is $79 for 50 prompts daily on three engines and 15 articles; Full Spectrum is $199 for 100 prompts daily on all eight and 30 articles. The AI visibility API sells answers at $0.08 each, prepaid, with no plan.
    • Engines: ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, Perplexity, Grok, DeepSeek, Google AI Mode and AI Overviews.
    • Better than AirOps at: a published price for tracking and content together, every engine named on the plan and checked daily, and article ideas drawn from the prompts where competitors are named and you are not. The Content Agent publishes to WordPress, Ghost, Shopify, Webflow or Wix, or to any stack through a custom endpoint.
    • Best value: Full Spectrum runs about 24,000 answers a month on eight engines plus 30 articles for $199, about $0.008 an answer, with ranked fixes included.
    • Limit: no visual workflow builder or multi-step review chains, one seat on the $29 plan, 30 articles a month as the ceiling below Enterprise, and a 3-day trial on Multi-Model and Full Spectrum only.
    • Suits: marketing teams who want to get recommended by AI and want the tracking and the content in one place.

    2. Writesonic: tracking with articles and site audits bundled in

Writesonic has moved from AI writer to AI search visibility platform, and its plans read like a priced version of AirOps' pitch: track, find the gaps, write the fix. If Writesonic is the tool you are leaving, our Writesonic alternatives cover that move.

    • Price (writesonic.com/pricing, 13 Oct 2026): Starter is $79 a month billed annually for 50 prompts and 50 answers tracked daily, 15 AI articles and 10 site audits; Basic is $199 for 100 prompts and 300 answers daily, 25 articles and 2 users; Growth is $399 for 200 prompts, 50 articles and sentiment analysis. Monthly billing costs $240, $600 and $1,200 a year more. The free trial needs no card.
    • Engines: ChatGPT, Gemini and Google AI Overviews on self-serve plans; all 8 platforms on Enterprise.
    • Better than AirOps at: a public price, articles counted per month, ads monitoring and site audits in every plan.
    • Limit: three engines until Enterprise, the Action Center is Enterprise-only (a trial of it on Growth), and agentic workflows are limited to trial runs on self-serve plans.
    • Suits: small marketing teams who want articles and audits from the same vendor.

    3. Frase: the content team's loop, from research to publish

Frase is the cheapest serious content platform here, and it now scores pages for AI answers as well as Google.

    • Price (frase.io/pricing, 13 Oct 2026): Starter is $49 a month, or $39 billed yearly, for one seat, one site, 10 articles and 50 audit pages a month; Professional is $129 ($103 yearly) for 3 seats, 5 sites and 40 articles; Scale is $299 ($239 yearly) for 5 seats, up to 10 domains and 100 articles. The 7-day trial needs no card.
    • AI visibility: ChatGPT and Google AI on Starter, Perplexity added on Professional, Claude and Gemini on Scale.
    • Better than AirOps at: a printed price, SERP research and briefs built for writers, Content Guard alerts when pages decay in Google, and free hosting on FraseCMS.
    • Limit: the workflows are Frase's own, so custom LLM pipelines are out, and Starter stops at its monthly limits.
    • Suits: in-house content teams and freelancers who want research, drafting and optimization at a small-business price.

    4. AthenaHQ: the longest model list, with a free plan

AthenaHQ comes at the job from the tracking side, and its self-serve model list is longer than any other here.

    • Price (athenahq.ai/plans, 13 Oct 2026): a free Essential plan with 300 credits on five engines and unlimited members; Starter at $295 a month for 3,600 credits across 11 models, where one credit is one AI response. API access and extra credits are paid add-ons.
    • Engines: ChatGPT, Perplexity, AI Overviews, Google AI Mode, Gemini, Claude, Copilot, Grok, DeepSeek, Meta AI and Mistral on Starter.
    • Better than AirOps at: eleven models at a published price and a free plan that keeps going.
    • Limit: its content help comes as recommendations and an agent with no monthly article allowance, so teams that used AirOps to publish at volume will still need a writer.
    • Suits: marketing teams whose main question is where AI mentions them, with content as the follow-up.
AthenaHQ plans page showing a free Essential plan and a $295 Starter plan

    On-brand writing: Jasper and Copy.ai

    5. Jasper: brand-governed marketing content

Jasper is the established choice for teams who care most about voice, and it now sells GEO agents on its top plan.

    • Price (jasper.ai/pricing, 13 Oct 2026): Pro is $69 a seat a month, or $59 billed yearly, with a free 7-day trial, 2 Brand Voices, 5 knowledge assets and 3 audiences. Business is custom and adds agents for GEO, translation and deep research, a no-code agent builder and Jasper Grid for content at scale.
    • Better than AirOps at: brand voice and governance, campaign content well beyond SEO, and a simple per-seat price.
    • Limit: the GEO agents and the agent builder sit on the custom Business plan, and Pro tracks no AI answers.
    • Suits: brand and product marketing teams producing campaigns as well as search content.

    6. Copy.ai: GTM workflows for sales and marketing

Copy.ai has become a go-to-market workflow platform, which makes it the pick for teams who used AirOps' builder for prospecting content as much as for SEO.

    • Price (copy.ai/prices, 13 Oct 2026): Chat is $29 a month, or $24 billed annually, for 5 seats with unlimited chat across OpenAI, Anthropic and Gemini models; Growth is $1,000 a month for 75 seats and 20,000 workflow credits; Expansion is $2,000 for 150 seats. API access sits on Enterprise.
    • Better than AirOps at: sales use cases and a cheap five-seat entry.
    • Limit: no AI visibility tracking, and workflows start at $1,000 a month.
    • Suits: revenue teams that want one AI workflow platform for sales and marketing.

Page optimization for writers: Clearscope and Surfer

    7. Clearscope: editorial-grade optimization with AI query tracking

Clearscope is what editors reach for when the writing is good and the page still needs to rank and get cited.

    • Price (clearscope.io/pricing, 13 Oct 2026): Essentials is $129 a month for 50 tracked queries, 50 pages, 20 topic explorations and 20 drafts; Business is $399 for 300 tracked queries. Unlimited users, no contracts and a 14-day free trial.
    • AI visibility: every plan tracks chosen queries across ChatGPT and Gemini.
    • Better than AirOps at: the writing experience inside Google Docs and WordPress, and a page-level grade editors trust.
    • Limit: it improves what your writers produce; it does not run workflows or publish at volume.
    • Suits: editorial teams with skilled writers who want a quality bar.
Clearscope pricing page with Essentials and Business plans
Clearscope's pricing page: Essentials at $129 and Business at $399 a month. Captured 10 October 2026.

    8. Surfer: content scoring with an AI tracking plan

Surfer scores a draft as you write, which is a different job from AirOps' pipelines and a useful one.

    • Price: not published to us in US dollars. On 13 October 2026 surferseo.com/pricing showed our connection euros only, so we give no figure.
    • Better than AirOps at: real-time content scoring in the editor, and a separate plan that tracks brand visibility in AI answers.
    • Limit: like Clearscope, it improves pages one at a time and does not orchestrate workflows.
    • Suits: SEO writers and agencies who want a score while they write.

If you used AirOps as a workflow builder: Gumloop and n8n

    9. Gumloop: AI agents and workflows for the whole company

Gumloop is the closest match to AirOps' canvas for teams whose workflows reach beyond content.

    • Price (gumloop.com/pricing, 13 Oct 2026): Pro starts at $37 a month with 20,000 credits, unlimited seats and a 14-day free trial; Enterprise is custom. You can bring your own API keys, and an 8% orchestration fee applies.
    • Better than AirOps at: general automation beyond content, 35+ models, and unlimited seats from the entry plan.
    • Limit: no AI visibility data and no SEO templates you would not build yourself.
    • Suits: operators who used AirOps mainly as an LLM workflow canvas.

    10. n8n: the self-hostable option

n8n gives technical teams the whole pipeline to own.

    • Price: not published to us in US dollars; n8n.io/pricing showed us no dollar figure on 13 October 2026. The community edition can be self-hosted.
    • Better than AirOps at: full control, self-hosting and hundreds of integrations.
    • Limit: you build everything, including the prompts, the review steps and the publishing, and nothing tracks AI answers.
    • Suits: technical teams who want to own their content pipeline end to end.

Enterprise AI search programs: Conductor and Profound

    11. Conductor: AEO, SEO and content for large teams

Conductor calls itself an all-in-one enterprise AEO platform (AEO: answer engine optimization, or getting your brand named in AI answers), with content creation built in.

    • Price (conductor.com/pricing, 13 Oct 2026): not published. Essentials (60 Writing Assistant drafts a year, 500 tracked keywords, 3 monitored sites) offers a free trial; Growth adds 2,500 AI search credits a year and 180 drafts; Enterprise is custom.
    • Better than AirOps at: classic SEO reporting, website monitoring and AEO in one governed platform.
    • Limit: sales-led pricing above Essentials, and a content allowance counted per year.
    • Suits: enterprise SEO teams who want content creation inside their search platform.

    12. Profound: enterprise visibility with an AI Marketer agent

Profound is the enterprise reference for AI search measurement, with an agent layer on top.

    • Price (tryprofound.com/pricing, 13 Oct 2026): a free trial with 50 prompts run daily for 7 days on ChatGPT, Gemini and Google AI Overviews; Enterprise is custom, sold after a demo.
    • Better than AirOps at: depth of visibility data, with up to nine engines and Prompt Volumes on Enterprise.
    • Limit: no published price, and the trial's prompts are a recommended set you cannot customize.
    • Suits: large brands that want the visibility data first and an agent on top. Our Profound alternatives price the field around it.
Profound pricing page showing a free trial and a custom Enterprise plan
Profound's pricing page: a free 7-day trial on ChatGPT, Gemini and AI Overviews, then custom Enterprise packages. Captured 10 October 2026.

    Also considered

Rytr and other low-cost writers suit short-form copy and would have little to say about AI search. Otterly AI, Peec AI and Rankscale are dedicated AI visibility trackers with no article generation; our Otterly AI alternatives compare them. Each either publishes too little to price or is mainly a different product.

    Before you switch

List what AirOps actually does for you each month before you compare anything: how many articles it ships, how many pages it refreshes, which workflows run on a schedule and who reviews them. A team that ships 20 articles a month and checks ChatGPT can move to Honeyb, Writesonic or Frase in a week. A team with forty custom workflows should rebuild the three that matter most in Gumloop or n8n first and run both systems side by side for a month. And if AI visibility is the reason you are moving, capture a baseline on the new tool before you cancel, since AI answers vary between identical runs and only a fixed prompt set turns readings into a trend.

    How we chose and checked

Every tool here does one of the jobs AirOps is hired for, and each entry follows the same order so you can compare them line by line.

Prices. Read on each vendor's own pricing page on 13 October 2026, in US dollars as printed. Where a page showed us only euros or no figure (Surfer, n8n) or no plan price at all (AirOps, Conductor, Profound), we say so and give no dollar figure. Writesonic's figures are the annual-billed prices its page shows first.

    Frequently asked questions

    How much does AirOps cost?

AirOps does not publish plan prices. Its pricing page (read 13 October 2026) lists Solo, Pro and Enterprise with Start for free or Work with us buttons, explains that usage is counted in tasks, and prints one figure: $0.025 per extra task on Solo. A 14-day free trial runs the Scale plan's features with no payment details until it ends.

What is the best AirOps alternative?

For content that gets your brand recommended by AI, Honeyb: it tracks all eight major engines daily and writes and publishes 30 articles a month on Full Spectrum at $199, about $0.008 an answer, with ranked fixes. For a workflow builder, Gumloop or n8n; for on-brand writing, Jasper.

What is the cheapest AirOps alternative?

Among the tools with a published US price, Copy.ai's Chat plan and Honeyb's The Minimum are both $29 a month; Honeyb's includes 10 prompts tracked daily and 5 Content Agent articles, Copy.ai's tracks no AI answers. Gumloop starts at $37 for workflows and Frase at $49 for 10 articles. AthenaHQ has a free plan for tracking.

Is AirOps an AI visibility tool or a content tool?

Both. Its core is a content engine and workflow builder; Insights adds AI visibility tracking, on ChatGPT only for Solo and across 7+ answer engines from Pro. Honeyb and Writesonic also pair tracking with article generation, each at a published price.

Which AirOps alternative also writes content?

Honeyb's Content Agent writes 5, 15 or 30 articles a month by plan and publishes them to your CMS; Writesonic includes 15 to 50 AI articles a month and Frase 10 to 100. Jasper and Copy.ai write but track no AI answers on their self-serve plans.

What can replace the AirOps workflow builder?

Gumloop (from $37 a month, unlimited seats, 35+ models) and n8n (self-hostable) are the closest matches for custom LLM workflows. Copy.ai's workflows start on its $1,000-a-month Growth plan. None of them tracks AI visibility.

Does AirOps track Claude and Gemini?

AirOps' Pro plan advertises Insights across 7+ answer engines without listing them on the pricing page; Solo tracks ChatGPT only. Honeyb tracks Claude and Gemini on Multi-Model (two of your three engines) and on Full Spectrum, and AthenaHQ on its $295 Starter plan.

    AirOps or Writesonic?

Writesonic is easier to budget: a published price from $79 a month billed annually, 50 prompts tracked daily on three engines and 15 articles. AirOps is more flexible, with custom workflows, unlimited seats on Pro and review steps, but its price comes from a conversation with its team.

    Matiss Katanenko

    Co-founder, Honeyb

My name is Matiss Katanenko and I co-founded Honeyb, the agent that gets brands recommended by AI, tracking how ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, Perplexity and four more AI engines talk about them. Before Honeyb I ran SEO for fast-growing companies across the US and Europe, including one of America's 500 fastest-growing companies. The numbers I am proudest of: taking a site from zero to 200,000 monthly visitors in five months, and over $10M in client revenue attributed to organic search. I still run experiments across ten-plus of my own domains to test what actually works in SEO, programmatic SEO and AI search, and those experiments are what this blog reports on. My focus today is AI search visibility: how brands get retrieved, ranked and referenced by LLMs. I'm based in Riga, Latvia. In my free time I'm in the sauna, on a padel court, or behind a drum kit.
